Auto-X Triumphs Mailing List Subscription Information
Probably the single most valuable usage of the Internet for a Triumph owner is a subscription to the Triumphs mailing list. This mailing list serves as a "discussion group/forum" and is read by hundreds of Triumph enthusiasts, including some of the VTR consultants , as well as many other people with great expertise with specific Triumph models.
There really isn't any better discussion group for Triumph motorcars anywhere! Ownership of a Triumph is not a prerequisite to joining the list.
However, the mailing list is a fairly high-volume mailing list, with anywhere from 30-150 messages each day.
The list is available in a real-time format (each mail message is sent separately) or as a digest, with the day's messages collected into one large nightly mailing. Some folks prefer the digest format over the steady stream of mail throughout the day.
The Triumphs mailing list, and others located at autox.team.net are run by an automated "list Server" (majordomo) maintained by Mark Bradakis. You can find information about this majordomo by sending the command help on the first line of an e-mail message to: majordomo@autox.team.net.
